Squez is a display typeface inspired by the rhythm and raw energy of a squeeze. It explores the transformation of shapes, evolving from solid, stable geometry into sharp, aggressive forms that feel like high-tension motion.

I started this project with hand-drawn sketches to explore how shapes deform under pressure. To capture the full intensity of the transformation, I developed two distinct states: a calm, geometric “before” and a sharp, blade-like “after.”
